- Francis Baptiste's picture "Indian Boys In Training" is taken to Buckingham Palace for the King and Queen to see and is acquired by the Royal Drawing Society for their Queen Alexandra King Edward VII Memorial collection. This is the first Canadian picture in this collection.
- Walsh takes an exhibit of the children's work to Europe and it is shown in London, Paris, Dublin, and at the Empire Fair in Glasgow.
- The students at the school begin to create dramas based on traditional Okanagan stories. These dramas were co-written by two non-native girls who resided in Oliver, B.C., Elizabeth Renyi, and Isabel Christie.
