  • Members of the Osoyoos Indian Band including former Day School students of Mr. Walsh, and descendants and families of former students no longer alive begin research to reconstruct the story of the Inkameep Day School. This research is done in collaboration with the Osoyoos Museum and the University of Victoria, Department of Anthropology.
    Group Conservation
    Inkameep elders and student research assistants preserve the art and the stories from the Inkameep Day School as part of the Osoyoos Museum, the Osoyoos Indian Band, and the University of Victoria's Community University Research Alliance (CURA) project.

  • The Vancouver Art Gallery hosts the exhibition titled Drawing the World. The exhibition of drawing from the Renaissance to the Present from around the world features 36 drawings from the Inkameep Day School.
