The image of women tanning animal hides in a drawing by Francis Baptiste (Sis-hu-lk) was selected for a proposed set of greeting cards documenting indigenous activities. Teresa Baptiste drew an image of family life-a baby on a papoose board. In a third, unsigned image, the sun rises on a young boy painting pictographs by torchlight, a rite of passage for young males.
